My passion is story telling: capturing that special moment, perfect and treasured forever. The most rewarding use of the art of photography is telling a story by using a simple approach to portraiture: unobtrusively allowing people to relax and feel comfortable with the process is the key.

I found great healing power in the creative control that digital photography made possible. When I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 1998 photography was one of the few pleasures I could continue to enjoy.

I have worked as a staff photographer for a newspaper and have been published in Boston Magazine.
