About

With a passion for storytelling and capturing the present moment, Clare Coco has been taking pictures and making video memories since the early 90s. “Art photography becomes narrative when the photographer allows the subject to portray a story naturally,” says Ms Coco. Key to Clare Coco’s approach to portraiture is remaining inconspicuous in the background while allowing her subjects to become at ease with themselves and the process. Ms.Coco has lately been developing various photo-video/multi-media albums for weddings, birthdays, private events, anniversaries and other client needs.
Diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 1998, Ms. Coco discovered the healing power and creative control afforded by digital photography. Her passion and artistic sensibility continue to blossom and thrive. She worked as a staff photographer for a newspaper, was published in Boston Magazine, and received various awards and recognitions for her work.
Clare lives north of Boston with her family as well as Palm Beach, Florida. She is an assistant to Joyce Tenneson and the Palm Beach Photographic Center. Clare enjoys volunteering in her community, teaching computer training and photography, and is involved in various photography associations.
